| A Map of the Panama City AreaYou can see that Anitas Inn and Spanish Panama are located in the Middle of the city. In fact the city has 2 centers. Firstly the Old Colonial Center, which has many tourists sites, a pedestrian shopping street and markets, but is a little rundown. It has low quality hotels. The main streets are OK for shopping and sightseeing in the daytime, but it can be dangerous at night.. There are beaches nearby, but unfortunately the sea is polluted, good beaches can be found on the Islands or 30 minutes drive away. The other center is the Central Business District CBD an area of high rise banking towers, it has all the tourist facilities. It has a whole street full of travel agents and internet cafes. We are located on the edge of the CBD on a quiet street off Via Argentina - The Paris of Panama with it's sidewalk cafes. You can safely walk around between the bars, restaurants, casinos etc. 3 Blocks away is an upmarket shopping Street for you to buy Gucci, Prada or Ferrari.You can see we are right in the middle of the map with convenient access to all the places you want to visit. |
