The Spanish Panama Conversation Club is perfect for anyone who feels a bit (or very!) uncomfortable speaking or practicing Spanish amongst Panamanians or his/her own new friends in Panama.
Teachers will monitor and this is a strict requisite: NO ENGLISH, FRENCH OR CHINESE. This is an academic approach seeking the students purpose: To learn Spanish performing actual situations to use the language as they live them in a Spanish speaking country where people do not speak other languages, specially English. Cambridge and Michigan English courses which
get outstanding results apply this policy. This is a REAL Spanish Conversation club.
Purpose of this club: To create a relaxed and friendly environment in which beginner, intermediate, and advanced speakers of Spanish as a second language can get together and have fun doing activities and learning more about Panama. The primary purose is eventual and gradual language improvement (without pressure!) of conversational Spanish speaking skills.
Spanish students enjoy these sessions as the instructors are professional and are expert in having the students enjoy the learning.
The Spanish Panama Conversation Club has sessions starting at 3:00 pm every Friday and run for about 90 minutes. If Friday is a holiday there is no meeting. These meetings are social (meet new friends!) and conversational (speaking ZERO percent English!) and incudes very interactive Spanish learning activities (comfortable with no pressure!) and is good for all levels of participants (Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced Spanish speakers).
* ALL of these Spanish speaking sessions are free while students are enrolled in INTENSIVE SPANISH IMMERSION PROGRAMS; that is those in which there is a min. of 4 hours of Spanish classes a day, airport pickup, tour to the Panama Canal and Casco Viejo, salsa dance classes, and other Panamanian cultural activities. For regular students or for non-students it is $180.00 and the validity is 3 months from the sign up date. That would be about 12 sessions. There are no makeup classes for missed sessions. The 3-month membership can be paid before coming to Panama through Bank Wire, Paypal, or Money Transfer Services.
